Hiller and Kelsey, now associated with Hammond, manufactured a Renault type 2-stroke V8 giving 75 hp although some optimistic information mentions it with 90 hp.
-With a large fairing and duct to force the cooling air through the cylinders.
-Later this assembly was refined. The combustion chambers were L-type, not usual in 2-stroke engines, but it was in the 4-stroke engines of the time. They had large intake and exhaust ports, and rotated to a maximum of 1,500 rpm. They were mounted on the Paterson-Hiller Flying Boat.
