Pierre Mengin Establishments began to build the Mengin type B and C engines for light aircraft in 1933.

-They were designed by Poinsard (see) and were also known by that name.

-Like the GMH engine model that was designed by Genete-Mengin-Hochet. This engine had two cylinders and double ignition and was built by Mengin, to whom this chapter refers. It gave 40 hp at 2,300 rpm and 54 hpm at 2,550 rpm. They were built between 1938 and 1940.
