The XJ-55-FF-1, was a fungible engine of simple design and with supersonic axial compressor coupled to a single turbine of the reaction type. It delivered 770 lbs of thrust at 28,200 rpm.
-The "Brigadier" engine was a turboprop (XT33-FF-1) with two-stage turbine, one for the compressor and the other for the double-rotation propeller through a gearbox.
-The project was canceled in 1946
