In light aircrafts such as ULM and power gliders electric motors are used to respect the environment, noise, cleaning, etc.

-Perhaps the push for these new formulas is mainly due to the arrival of new batteries and accumulators of advanced technology based on lithium and polymers, Li-Po.

-The electric motors are known as "E-Motor" or GMPE or "Motor Electric Driven Group". Thus the present brand has three models:

-The GMPE 102 "Dévoluy" of 26 CV.
-The GMPE 104 "Chabre" of 35 CV.
-The GMPE 201 "Arambre" of 43 CV.

-The engine must use a control-unit. There are also the batteries and an indicator of their status.

-As an indicator of the efficiency of these motors and batteries, we give the following details, for the GMPE 104 that gives 35 CV, for example:

-The peak power of 35 HP can only been given for 30 seconds. However, if it is reduced (after takeoff) to 26 HP, the duration would be 10 minutes. This would increase to much longer with the recommended maximum cruise power of 22 hp.
