Leonid S. Dushkin together with Alexis M. Isaef (Isaev) developed rocket engines in Russia.

-Perhaps one of the first was the RDA-1-150 with 150 Kgs of thrust, using liquid fuels: kerosene and nitric acid.

-After that came the RDK-1-150 that used alcohol and liquid oxygen, (RD, from Rekativnyi Dvigatel)

-The RDKS-1, in the end of the 1940's, had a combustion chamber for the turbo-pump fed by the same propellant as the main rocket engine.

-The RDKS-100 was manufactured between 1946 and 1951 using LOX and kerosene.

-The same fuels were used with the RDD-04.

-The RD-2M2V (1944-1947) had two variable-thrust combustion chambers, using LOX / Kerosene.

-There was at least one solid-fuel Dushkin, the 3M9. Later on solids and nitric acid are mentioned for the KRD-604 and KRR-300 (1955-60).

-The R-13, from 1946, had the same fuel as the previous ones, nitric acid + solid. E.

-The R-200 delivered 1000 Kgf. of thrust.

-The RU-013 (1955-57) delivered 3,200 Kgf. The S-155 from the same period gave 4,000 Kgf. And the S-3-20M5A, from 1959, used nitric acid and kerosene.

“Bereznyak/Isaev BI-1”

-With other collaborators, among them P. Sheptitsky and Shto Kolov, they made a larger version of the RD-1A-, the D1A-1100 that delivered 1,100 Kgf., which was very powerful for its time. It was installed on the BI-6, running for 2 minutes at full speed.

-This aircraft also had 2 Merkoulov DM-4 ramjet engines.
