Desert Aircraft builts small engines between 5 and 15 hp that fall into the model aircraft category, but with the ability to power large models to 35% of the real aircraft size and therefore also UAV, RPV, etc.
"Desert Air 50R"
-The DA-50R is 50 cc and 5 hp of power. It has electronic auto-advance ignition.
“DA-100”
-The DA-100 has a displacement of 100 cc and gives 9.8 hp. It is a horizontally-opposed 2-cylinder engine.

-The DA-150, has a displacement of 150 cc and gives 16.5 hp. It keeps the accessories of the previous ones like electronic ignition, etc.
From Appendix 6: In 2008 Desert Aircraft introduced the DA-85 and DA-170, and besides they have lightened the DA-100, now called DA-100L (L for light).
-Engines used in motorized paragliding and in ULM. The DA-85 displaces 85'9 cc and gives 8.5 hp at 9,500 rpm.

-It uses electronic ignition and has a Walbro carburetor. All DAs are two stroke engines.
-The DA-50R has been in the catalog since 2003 as a standard of 50 cc. The power is 5 hp.
-The DA-170 has a displacement of 172.8 cc and gives 18 hp at 9,200 rpm, with equal lightness and strength as the DA-150.

From Appendix 10: On the official website of Desert Aircraft we have found the following new models.
-The latest model (Feb 2018) is the DA-35 that has a new ignition system controlled by a micro-processor.

-The DA-60 with a displacement of 60.5 cc has the Desert aircraft electronic ignition "auto-advance" system and weighs 1.41 kg.

-There is a four-cylinder engine that displaces 200 cc giving 19 hp at 8,500 rpm. It is the DA-200 that has a Desert Aircraft on electronic ignition system as well. The DA-200 has two versions: the Standard that weighs 10.95 kg and the Light (light) that weighs 10.05 kg.
