Founded in Courbevoie in 1905, it was active in the construction of automobiles until 1954. It intervened in the manufacture of aviation engines with at least two types.

"Delage logo"

-The engine of the Kellner-Bechereau KB28VD aircraft of the Deutsch de la Meurthe Cup.

-It was a liquid-cooled, 12-cylinder, inverted-V engine, with gear and mechanical supercharging. The engine delivered 370 CV at 3,900 rpm. It was the 12CDIRS model.

"Delage 12CDIRS"

-The two superchargers, placed at the rear, on both sides and one for each cylinder row, were volumetric Delage type, (although very similar to the American Roots).

"Delage compressor"

-The V formed by the cylinder blocks was at 60° and the engine was small because it only displaced 7.95 liters, with cylinders with a diameter of 100 mm and a stroke of 84'4 mm.

-The homologation tests were carried out at CINA, around 1933.

-When the engine was rotating at 3,900 rpm, the propeller did it at only 1,900 rpm.

"Delage 12GVIS"

-The Delage 12GVIS, gave 450 CV with cylinder blocks inverted at 60° as well.

-This one displaced 12 liters compared to almost 8 of the previous mentioned engine.

-This engine was known as the Delage 12GVis, with 732 cu. in. of displacement.

-Another model was the 12 CDirs with only 488 cu. in. of displacement, similar to the previous mentioned engine but with a smaller size.
