Crossflow Aero Corp. in Ontario adapts Subaru engines for use in aviation.

-The CF4-20 model gives 180 hp at 5,800 rpm. They are manufactured from 1996 until today.

-It is a liquid cooled engine with multi-point fuel injection, electronically controlled simple ignition, and one coil in each cylinder. It has a double overhead camshaft.

-The CF4-20T that gives 200 hp at 6,000 rpm is the same engine with turbocharger. The CF4-20THO with 250 hp increases the rotation speed to 6250 rpm.

-A less known version is the CF2-22 that gives 170 hp with reduction gear.

-The CF6, 33 series give from 250 to 300, 320 and 350 hp according to the above mentioned additions.
