The Chamberlin "Rover" engine from 1939 built by Clarence D.Chamberlin from Jersey City after his acquisition of the Rover rights to Jean Roché.
-The L-496 engine obtained its Type Certificate, the ATC-number was 37. It was an inverted 6-cylinder in-line air-cooled engine that delivered 100/110 hp. It was a remanufacturing of the Michigan Rover that was built by Michigan Aero Engine Corp.
