The Michigan Aero Engine Corp. was established in Lansing, Michigan.
-They made engines, like the Rover, designed by Harold E. Morehouse.
-The Rover was known as the R-236 model.
-This is the factory reference that was difficult to confuse with the type of engine. It gave 55 HP at 1,900 rpm.

-The Michigan Rover R-267 displaced exactly 267,28 cu. in. being of an architecture similar to the R-236, giving 75 hp of power at 1,975 rpm.
One of these engines is at NASM in Washington.

-The Rover was also known as L-267. It was air cooled and had four inverted, in line cylinders. It gave 75 hp at 2,000 rpm (see Roché).
-The Michigan L-236 was similar with 55 HP at 1,900 rpm.
