In recent years with impressive changes in this great country, the aviation industry has expanded enormously.

-The Chinese aircraft engine industry, which is what interests us, is divided in various departments as we have already seen by Catic and its associated factories. Below we define the most current information from other channels:

-XAE, in Xiang, also builds the RR Spey.
-ZAC, in Zhouzou, builds the WJ-9 based on the Turbomeca Arriel.
-South Motive Power and Machinery Complex, builds the HS-6 (Ivchenko AI-14), the WJ-6 turboprop (Ivchenko AI-20M) the WZ-8 (Arriel 1C of Turbomeca) and the WP-11, small turbojets for target aircraft.
-SAMP or Shanghai Aero Engine Mfg. Plant makes the WS-8, a turbofan similar to the P&W JT-3D, and besides the entirely Chinese WS-6.
-LMC or Liyang Machinery Corp. manufactures the WP-7B and WP-13 derived from the Gavrilov and Tumanskii R-13 and R-11.
-LM, or Liming Engine Mfg. Corp. builds the WP-6 (Tumanskii RD-9) and the WP-7 (Tumanskii RD-11) as well as the WS-6.
-DEMC is Dongan Eng. Mfg. Co. that builds the WJ-5 turboprops derived from the Ivchenko AI-24.
 -TCEC, or Chengdu Eng. Co. also amanufactured the WP-6 and WP-13.
-CLXMW in Changzhou built the Turbomeca “Turmo”, as WZ-6.
