Baynes absorbed Carden after the accident suffered by its owner. Carden-Baynes continued with the water-cooled Ford-C that gave 40 hp at 3,000 rpm.
-Two Carden-Baynes 4-cylinder engines were mounted on the Baynes two-seater glider, with 40 hp each. The propellers were pushers.
