From appendix 6: In Colorado, George Bye has presented a prototype of a hybrid engine, known as EHPS (electric-hybrid propulsion system).

-George is CEO of By-Energy Inc. but collaborates with other companies such as UQM Technologies for the engine and its controls.

-Popous Power for the lithium battery and its management, Ascent Solar for photovoltaic panels.

-Vertical Power for energy management and finally Scion Aviation for composite parts.

-He works closely with Cessna Aircraft Co. on the 168 hp UQM 125 engine installation on a Skyhawk C-172 (the most sold plane in the world, more than 43,000 units and they still continue -do not forget that the one that kept the record was that the Russian Stormovik from WWII, followed by the Me-109-).

-He also tries to combine this electric motor with a GSE OCX 1226 engine to recharge the batteries.
