Henryk Brzeski was an engineer and builder of the first Polish aviation engine in 1907. It was a bi-rotary engine.

-The patent and drawings were acquired by Siemens and Gnome companies.

-The engine was tested by Brzeski in Vienna.

-The engine was known as "Iskra" (Spark) and was a 7-cylinder radial, bi-rotary engine that drove two contra-rotating propellers. It delivered 70 hp.

-Two new photographs of Henryka Brzeskiego's Aquila airplane with the bi-rotary engine called Iskra.

-This was in the year 1910.

-In 1926/27, H. Brzeski made the “Pocisk”.

-Hereafter he designed another engine in 1929, although it seems that it was carried out at PZ-Skoda. This was another barrel engine that delivered 137 hp.

-It had inclined fins, arranged this way to facilitate the dynamic air flow caused by advance or a possible front fan.
