From appendixes A3/6 and A6/6: It is the surname of Mark Beierle. He is the designer of the radial engine that appears in the main text with the commercial name Rad-Cam (see). In that chapter there appear two models, according to the cylinder outlet ports.

-The name "Beierle" is carved in the central crankcase. At the cylinder base we see “Desert Aircraft”, so they are that brand's cylinders.

-We treat this engine in another part of this publication, but we found a picture of this Beierle radial engine at the patent office.

-Mark H. Beierle, from Santa Mónica, California is the inventor of this engine that has the main characteristic of an atypical rod connection to the crankshaft.

-A cam or lobe with guides connects with the rigid connecting-rod rollers.
