From appendix A2/6: Bayern Chemie is a chemical company specialized in rocket fuels.

-Generally solid fuel, but some of them of variable thrust, double-pulse engines, gel-based propelled, hypersonic, etc.

-The solid fuel is mainly composed of oxidizer (typically ammonium perchlorate) and fuel is the typical poly butadiene or HTPB. Plus additives and load stabilizers.

-The first one is normal and the second double-pulse. It has double load, separated by the part that is shown in the small attached picture. They are very light engines.

-For hypersonic speeds, en 1993, they had the HFK1 available for Mach 5.

-Generally for higher speed and even hypersonic. Since 1963 they supply to civilians and the military.

-Propellant-load cartridges for rechargeable engines with a minimum of smoke and attenuated IR signal.

-For civilian use there are rockets used for rescue from sea, lighting flares, etc.

-The Kriss engine is a booster for the French projectile-dispenser Apache-AP whose mission is to burst airport runways.
