This company manufactured aircraft engine models used by the Wright brothers in Europe, conducted by the brothers themselves in 1904.
-It had 4 separated upright cylinders with a diameter of 100 mm by 112 mm stroke. A 1400 rpm they delivered 27/30 CV and weighed 80 Kg.
-It was a copy of Wright's type 4 engine, but Bariquand et Marré called it “Type W”, (from Wright), as we can see on the identification plate.

-These engines did not have carburetors. A small geared pump shot out a gasoline jet into a common collector for the four cylinders.
-It had steel casings and aluminum cylinders.
-It also had a centrifugal pump for the water at the front side as showed in the picture below.
-A device might press the valves for starting and engine failure during flight, leaving the propellers spin and not slowing down the flight.

-The oil pump was very similar to the gasoline one. The general look was like the car engines of those days.
From appendix 9: This factory made the four-cylinder Wright engines for Europe (From the Wright brothers in the USA). Therefore the model is known as “W”.
