In April 1911 the US "Aeronautics" magazine mentioned an airplane made by Longfellow Monoplane Co. with a Bleriot-XI like engine but with a prettier landing gear.
-It had an "Avis" two-stroke, two-cylinder engine installed that gave 30 hp. It is a "Revolving" (Rotary) engine with little or nothing common in its architecture.
"Avis rotary engine"
-The engine builder was Avis Engineering Co. Allston, Massachusetts. Information from 1911.
