Located in Piacenza, this company, Arrow Engineering, provides engines for ultralight, VLA, drones, military vehicles and General Aviation.

-They are modular engines with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 cylinders and various powers, with and without gear.

-They are all two-stroke engines except motorcycle Guzzi V65 version, which is a four-stroke, 2-cylinder V engine.

-All the modular engine cylinders were almost equal. They measured 74.6 mm bore and 57 mm stroke (oversquare or short-stroke), with a displacement of nearly 250 cc each.

-They use a mixture of gasoline and oil.

-The GT-250 with one upright cylinder gave 34 CV at 6,800 rpm.

-The AE-270 AC version with epicyclic gearing is more advanced.

-It is an upright mono-cylinder engine. Usually they have a built-in electric starter and dual ignition.

-The GT-500 is a horizontally opposed two-cylinder engine estimated to 65 CV with carburetor.

-Its version with superposed gearbox is the AE-530-AC and the -AE version is the one with epicyclic gearing as illustrated below.

-The AE-530-LC version also gives 65 CV, but it is liquid cooled and is different from the basic system of Arrow engines.

-The four-cylinder 100 hp mounts two Bing carburetors. It is the GT-1000 in its first version. The latest 100 CV version is the GP-1000-AC, with gearbox giving 120 CV, which is the same power as the AE-1000-AC4.

-The liquid-cooled, more modern engines are distinguished by the letters LC behind the displacement. Just like the 130 CV, four-cylinder Arrow AE-1070-LC.

-Coupling three GT-500 units, we get the 6-cylinder, air-cooled, horizontal-opposed GP-1500-AC, a two-stroke engine with carburetors Bing and gearbox.

-As said earlier, the GT-654-V version is the Guzzi V65 motorcycle engine with two cylinders in V at 90° It had  a double Dell'Orto carburetor, electric starter and epicyclic gearing.
