The Ardun Mechanical Corp. in New York. Literally their engine was designed to get the results of an automobile engine with the efficiency of an aircraft engine.

-The engine is a typical USA V8 with 90 percent of structural parts from a Ford truck but considerably modified.

-It has hemispherical combustion chambers and heads with "aerodynamic" valves to facilitate the mixture path and improve the engine's efficiency.

-Most of the parts are constructed in aluminum alloys instead of iron casting.

-With all these modifications they obtain higher output power and better power to weight ratio.

-A standard engine normally delivers 100 hp and after its modification this becomes 160 hp at the same rpm with a peak of 175 hp at 5,200 rpm.
