APP (Auxiliary Power Plant) on board Airbus aircraft (e.g. the APP models APS-3000).
-Apic is a manufacturer of engines for auxiliary power groups on board. See also Sundstrand.
-The illustration has been obtained from Flightglobal, the important aviation magazine Flight that periodically surprises us with very complex cutaway drawings of aircraft engines and with an extraordinary quality.

-The APIC we see now is the APS 3200 model. An APU to provide power and air conditioning during the flight.
“APIC APS3200” (Flight, PeT)
From appendix 6: It is a company formed by the Joint Venture of French Labinal and American Sundstrand.
-APIC is the “Auxiliary Power International Corp.”.
-As we saw in the main text, there are mentioned some APIC units used in civil and military transport aircraft.
-The APS-3200 is destined for the Airbus A-320 and A-321.

-It seems clear that the APS's were provided by Sundstrand, since before merging products they already had these models. Like the Sundstrand APS-1000 below.

-And an exterior photograph of the small APS-500 destined for regional aircraft from 30 to 50 passengers or business aircraft.
