This company was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1928. "Aeronautical Corporation of America" (Aeronca) manufactured light-aviation engines with remarkable success.

-The E-107 with two opposed cylinders gave 26 hp and the E-113 in the same configuration in its different versions gave between 36 and 40 hp.

-These versions were A, B and C, but the E-113CB, CD and CBD were reaching 45 hp.

The E-113C in the illustration showed later below in an Aeronca airplane, also delivered 36 hp at 2400 rpm with single ignition, ball and needle bearings, with exception of the connecting rods that were anti-friction.

-The reference E-107 indicated that the engine had a displacement of 107 cu in.

-This engine is from 1930 and the E-107A from 1931 gave 30 hp at 2500 rpm.

-Note that the oil sump on the front is smooth, while the E-113 models have fins shaped by the casting itself. They were manufactured between 1931 and 1940. It is noted that in this new crankcase they mounted Warner Scarab cylinders with exposed rockers and single ignition.
