ADEPT Airmotive engine specifications

A very new engine brand destined to general aviation, situated in Virginia Airport in Durban and with the cooperation of the university of Johannesburg, Gauteng.

-As almost always, they enter in competition with the American Lycoming and Continental engines, to replace them in aircraft that are exhausting their potentials.

-They offer three engines, which are the models below:

-320T, with 320 hp turbo supercharged.
-280N, with 260/280 hp. Normal air intake. (Atmospheric)
-300R, with more than 300 hp. Atmospheric for competitions and races.

-It can run with AvGax and MoGas.

-It has 6 cylinders in V at 120o. This angle corresponds to the division of the two turns of the four stroke cycle (720o) divided by 6 cylinders: 720:6=120o.

-This way the geometric angle corresponds with the same ignition angle.

-We know that 8-cylinder engines have their V in 90o for the same reason. The same with V12 engines, which have a 60o angle.
