The Russian company known as Fiat-Togliatti, actually the Volzhskoiy Automobilniy Zavody, is the manufacturer of Lada automobiles and has rotary engines for use in cars, which VAZ has also adapted for aviation.
“VAZ D-200”
One of the automobile engines was the VAZ 430, with two Wankel-type rotating bodies producing 220 hp. This engine gave rise to the D-200 aircraft engine for use in light aircraft.
