Dr. Wolf Trommsdorf proposed several ideas for ramjet-powered rockets, missiles, and aviation to the Armaments Supply Office.

-An important chapter in the book "German Jet Engines" illustrates some of these engines.

-Starting with self-propelled munitions (E1) it evolved to the interesting high-speed ramjets of up to Mach 3.0.

-It seems he proposed his ideas to arms manufacturer Krupp, but they showed no interest.

-He continued his studies, which he shared with other professors, reaching his most interesting conclusion by adopting Oswatitsch's inlet diffusers. All of this occurred during WWII.

-Below we show some of the engines and missiles that appear in the aforementioned book, in much more detail.

- A transcontinental ramjet-equipped missile, the Trommsdorf D6000, has also been presented.
