At this university in Brasov, an engine has been built using advanced 3D printing techniques. It is a two-stroke aero-engine with an unorthodox architectural design.

With the new technique, construction processes are being simplified, eliminating foundries and a significant amount of machine tools. Furthermore, the number of parts can be simplified by being able to build them together.
