TRABANT engine specifications

The engine of his well-known automobile has been installed on motor gliders such as the Bisier and the Janowsky J-2. Two-cylinder, two-stroke (see ODA).

-The engine is a two-stroke engine, noisy, and because the fuel and oil were mixed together, it also produced a lot of blue smoke from the unburned oil.

-PTO = Power Take Off, or in other words, power output for the propeller. There are also versions with both cylinders fitted horizontally to one side, as in the example in the below photo.

As we can see, it has been used in Eastern countries as a makeshift engine for microlights or motorized gliders.
