The Toku (or Toko) rocket engine, model Ro-2, was dual-fuel and equivalent to the German Walter HWK109-509 used in the equivalent Messerschmitt Komet that the Japanese had built as the Shusui J8M1, a variant based on the German engine. It produced 1,500 kgf of thrust.
