The Taylor engine, designed by D.G. Taylor, was mounted on the Cub H-2. There is a USNA entry for a Taylor engine in the period 1939-49 with registration number 3972/452.8.
-And below is a photograph of a Taylor engine, which by its size does not seem to be the one mounted on the Cub, although there is no certainty of this.
