In 1908, a Stanley steam engine that gave 50/60 HP was installed in duplicate on Davidson's Air-Car airplane, in Colorado, Denver.

-The engine is known as Stanley-Steam.

-There was a steam-powered airplane, in fact we now know that there were two 60 HP engines from 1911.

-It was installed in a unique device, a Gyropter, built by Davidson.

-Between the wings of this biplane there were rotors similar to the Fan rotors of current turbines.

-The hanging model was reduced to the scale in which each inch would be a foot in the real device.
