In 1908, a Stanley steam engine that gave 50/60 HP was installed in duplicate on Davidson's Air-Car airplane, in Colorado, Denver.
-The engine is known as Stanley-Steam.
-There was a steam-powered airplane, in fact we now know that there were two 60 HP engines from 1911.
-It was installed in a unique device, a Gyropter, built by Davidson.
-Between the wings of this biplane there were rotors similar to the Fan rotors of current turbines.
