SNIA Viscosa was the manufacturer of the Italian engine that was used by the “Aspide” air-to-air rocket.
From Appendix 6: SNIA together with BPD developed the "Iris" rocket motor for upper stages, around 1986.
-In fact, it was a perigee engine to place payloads of about 900 kg in GTO synchronous transfer orbits. There were projects for higher payloads.
