Simms made an engine in the years 1909-1910 that was mounted on a Voisin biplane.
From Appendix 6: From Simms Aero Motors Ltd. this 6-cylinder V-shaped engine is known.
-Curiously, the camshaft is visible between the cylinder banks. And the carburetor is very high due to a poorly studied intake manifold.
-It had “auto-mechanical” intake valves of the Phillips type, a combination of controlled and automatic valves.
