Leland L. Scott, of Kansas City, Missouri, founded Scott Aircraft Motors.

We know of a two-stroke engine with two opposed cylinders that gave 40 hp. It had double ignition without magneto, but with battery.

-This engine was manufactured between 1936 and 1937.

-There was another engine, also 2-stroke that had four cylinders in V. It had double ignition with Delcos too.

-They were built at the same time. It has really nice shapes.

-It had to be supercharged to force the mixture into the cylinders, which, as we see, does not go through the interior of the crankcase.
