It is the “Shanghai Aero engine Manufacturing Plant”. It began its activity in the early 1970s, known at first as SAF or “Shanghai Aero engine Factory”.

-Among the engines it manufactured, the WS-8 stands out. It delivered 18,000 lbf of thrust. It had a very limited production.
