The Samolot factory in Lawcia built small airplanes and at the same time their engines. The designer was J. Wallis, so they were sometimes known as Samolot-Wallis.

-The M.VIII model is a 688 cc, two-stroke, horizontally-opposed twin-cylinder with overhead exhaust valve and rotary valve intake.

-This engine is from the year 1926. Another characteristic was that the cylinders are threaded to the crankshaft block.
