“Nebel liquid rocket, A-2”

-This rocket was known as Aggregate 2. It had three tanks: the oxygen tank, the fuel tank and an upper nitrogen tank to pressurize both main tanks, since there were no feed pumps.

-Although in the media, the most famous pioneer has been Von Braun (V-2 and Saturn), being promoted by the Americans, it turns out that Nebel, Riedel, Oberth, etc. were with him. Lesser known but important.

-Note that the initials HVP refer to the Peenemünde Army Experimentation Center, which was camouflaged as the EMW or “Elektro Mechanische Werke”.
