-Studies such as the Fastrac, “spike” motor or very high-speed rocket are known. Their tests were carried out at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.

-But the most far-reaching project is the Roton (C-9), a spaceship that rises by its own means (rockets) and returns by autorotating blades. The initial turn is started by some rockets at the blade tips. These blades are used just for the landing.
