An important company from Milan called SIA Ing. Nicola Romeo & Co., associated with the manufacture of Alfa-Romeo automobiles, acquired the license for the Bristol Jupiter that it built for the Italian Aeronautic. This was around the 1920's.

-Although experimentally, it also built a 12-cylinder 60° V with 600 CV.
