Rene Gillet was the builder of at least one piston engine, apparently a 12-cylinder Vee. No more information at the moment.
From Appendix 7: The engine he made around 1910 was unusual, with 4 cylinders in X and 25 HP.
“Installation of the Rene Gillet” (PiP-fmr)
-The plane that had this engine installed was a Minima, from SVA (Societé des Vehicles Aeriennes) just like the Simplex, a kind of Demoiselle of illustration and of the SVA as well.
