Qinetiq's is the constructor, among other aerospace materials, of the T-5 engines used on the GOCE of EAS (European Space Agency).

-The GOCE is a very special satellite because it is used to know the differences in the force of gravity with precision in the different areas of the planet.

-It is powered by an ion engine produced from xenon, a fuel that it carries in a 40 kg tank.

“The T-5 running”

-The thrust of the ion engines is ridiculous from 1 to 20 millinewtons (mN) but enough to make corrections. Two more lateral engines acted in that sense as well. Therefore they are "thrusters".
