The Pitcairn “Brewer” F Model was a 9-cylinder radial.
-This engine was known as Pitcairn-Brewer, being manufactured by Pitcairn and designed by Captain R.W.A Brewer.
-This was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
-The F model in the illustration below is a product of the years 1927-28.
-It had a displacement of almost 639 cu. in. and delivered 150 HP at 1,800 rpm.

To understand the operation of the connecting rods, the 1929 Continental R 670 single-cylinder engine was chosen.
A demonstration of Version 3, improved at the author's suggestion, is also available on YouTube at a later date. This version shows bronze valve guides, improved valve spring movement, and the split crankshaft counterweights and front bearing balls also move.
