Panhard was an automobile manufacturer known as “Sociétè Anonyme des Anciens Establisements Panhard et Levassor”.

-They built aviation engines known as simply Panhard, although the correct name was Panhard et Levassor (see).

-The manufactured cars were known by the first name especially from WWII until the 1960's.

-Panhard car engines of recent times, four-cylinder boxers were modified for aviation under names such as "Dyna Panhard" or "Dyna-Wassmer", which are already discussed in this publication.
