A propulsion engine based on pulsating nuclear explosions that "push" the spaceship forward. It is a NASA program.

Orion project
“Orion project”

-It was scheduled to be launched on Saturn V and for planned trips to Mars.

-The problem of radiation contamination was not convincing, and finally due to the signing of anti-nuclear treaties, the project was abandoned.

-The propulsion method is known as NPSV or “Nuclear Pulse Space Vehicle”.

Spaceship details
"Operating principle"

-It works as follows: An explosive nodule is released from the ship and explodes behind it, and the shock wave is what pushes the vehicle forward.

From Appendix 9: As we saw in the main text, the Orion's propulsion principles are the successive nuclear explosions behind the ship.
