ODMAG

(Austria)

See Austro-Daimler.

From Appendix 9: An ODMAG (Osterreischische Daimler Motoren Aktien-Gesellshaft) was discovered on a visit by a collaborator to the Bucharest Aviation museum (Museul Aviatei, Bucharest, Romania).

-Although there are no indications or plates, except for a yellow brass one with tune-up instructions, it is supposed to be a 120 hp six-cylinder.

-It is mutilated for lack of magnetos, lubrication box and it has armored -modern- spark plugs. Water and lubrication ducts are also missing.

-But instead it has some deflectors in front of the set of rocker arms of each cylinder. It is assumed that this is done to prevent the advance air from dragging the oil that has been put previously.
