A.V. Nesterov designed a water-cooled, 7-cylinder engine with a huge gearbox.

-The engine was called "Hypocycle" and some information deals with 120 CV and others with 180 CV. It is from 1914.

From Appendix 10: At the Monino Museum in Moscow Nesterov's engine is exhibited. It was actually based on the Salmson M-7 (inspired, rather). The M-7 appears in the Salmson chapter of this publication.

-It has a much "cleaner" design than the Salmson. It is distinguished by a long extension for the propeller.

-The valve control rod is unique. Possibly with two strokes, short and long.

-It gives 120 CV and it was known as "Gipotsikl" which means, translated: "Hypocycle". We do not know the meaning and reason for the name.
