Known simply as "National".
-For their Bluebird plane, they made a horizontally-opposed 2-cylinder engine known as the “National 35” giving 35 HP at 2,600 rpm and 37 HP at 2,700 rpm.
This was in the years 1934 to 1936. Later between the years 1940/41 and 42 there is an entry in the USNA II files of an engine in box 2440/452.8.
The company was established in Montana and introduced an engine for light aviation in 1934.
-It was the National 35 that gave 37 HP at 2,600 rpm, being approved with 35 HP at 2,400 rpm by the Civil Authorities.
