-During World War II this factory was also commissioned to build a series of Pratt & Whitney radial engines.

From Appendix 6: Below we present an ad from the WWII period in which car manufacturer Nash announces its aviation engine.

-The licensed engines were from Pratt & Whitney.

From Appendix 10:  During WWII Nash-Kelvinator manufactured bombs, ammunition, propellers and also aircraft engines licensed from Pratt & Whitney.

-In particular, the R-2800 models.

-They made the R-2800-8 for the Corsairs, the "sidewinder" model with a side supercharger.

-The R-2800-10 engines were installed on the Gruman Hellcat F6F.

-The R-2800-65 engines were for the P-61 “Black Widow”
