This is one more of the NASA collaborating centers. It is currently testing the hypersonic X-43A or Hyper-X.

-They also do the tests with the Pegasus rocket booster engines of the above mentioned Hyper-X.

X-43A Pegasus Booster
“Booster Pegasus of the X-43A”

-The Hyper-X or X-43A is designed for speeds between 7 and 10 Mach, carrying Ramjet/Scramjets Dual Mode engines.

-The Pegasus engine is manufactured by Orbital Sciences Corp. of Arizona.

From Appendix 9: They announce a study project under the CCIE program for more efficient control of a ribbed central body motor. Clearly a ramjet.

-It is shown below in three stages. The first image shows the interior channel system. The following a softer system. The third image shows the whole.
