The Mudry engines were built by "Moteurs Mudry-Buchoux" a division of Avions Mudry. It operated between 1958 and 1970.

-Its commercialized engine was a horizontally-opposed four-cylinder that gave 80 CV. Model MB-4-80.

-It had a displacement of 2498 cc.

-Although they have tried to assimilate the VW derived engines, it seems that it was of original design and that it incorporates many automobile parts such as valves, rocker arms, and segments.
