The Monaco Motor and Engineering Company, of Watford that was founded in 1935, and that manufactured automobiles made two engines for general aviation in a range of 70-100 HP.
“Monaco”
-The 70/75 CV had a displacement of 3 liter and for the 100 CV engine, it was 3.6 liters.
-The cruise speed rpm was between 2,200 and 2,300 rpm but it could maintain 3,000 rpm for long periods.
“Another Monaco”
-In 1949 the company was sold to Associated Equipment Co. Ltd and immediately dissolved.
